This was my 1st time going to a Kelsey's in years. 1st time bringing my young family including 2 young kids. Needless to say it was an experience we don't want to remember. Sat August 5th to be precise. Will do a point form.-Dry rubber steak for fajitas. Bland. Exchanged for SHRIMP. No better. Cheese for fajita topping was spoiled. Tastes it right away.-fruit flies all over this restaurant. Disgusting. One literally swimming in my beer.-wife's burger was a mini one. My daughters meat patty for kiddie burger was bigger. Servers Selena and Olivia did an excellent job, consistently checking in on our group to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes for the appetizers. I enjoyed the taste of everything I tried. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, with cozy booths, beautiful wood flooring, and excellent lighting. I would definitely return in the future. For vegetarians, the spinach dip and nachos are tasty options. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere and family-friendly menu options. Overall, my experience was positive and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
It was our first time out in awhile. We try and get together every 3 or 4 months. We usually go to the Unionville Arms but they had activities scheduled for Main Street. We use to go to Kelseys and switched to Boston Pizza when Kelsey's closed for renovations a few years ago. It was half price wing night and the restaurant was expectedly busy. We picked a 6:30 PM reservation to minimize the busy window. Unfortunately, they were understaffed. Our server was alone. Our server was very good but our service was impacted. We tipped 15% instead of our usual 20% to 25%.
This place was ridiculous!! We waited 40 min on the patio for our food, which never came out. We had a little kid crying, and no one even checked on us. The waitress served our appetizer to another customer who arrived and ordered 20 MINUTES later than us. When I went to tell the other waiter that came to our table that we were canceling our order, he said Okay . Then he said he 'll check on the order AFTER he said he was checking on it the first time I went to him.NOT RECOMMENDING TO EAT HERE. The service was just atrocious.
I absolutely adore this place! The manager, Bobby, is truly exceptional. He always treats me like a valued customer and I consistently see him engaging with and being pleasant to all the customers. I come here to buy chicken food for my puppy and Bobby always ensures that it's perfect. He really is the best in the business and knows the secret to appreciating his customers. As for vegetarian options, there are none listed. The restaurant's kid-friendliness and parking situation are also not available.
The menu is unoriginal, without even slightly healthier options for the modern informed consumer. Founded in 1978 you would think to stay in business so long they would adapt. The service that night was also atrocious, that became the butt of the joke at the table for the evening. It’s the kind of place you go when literally there’s no other options. Fries were tasty. Beer menu laughable.
Gluten free GOODNESS here is served. I highly suggest the burger! The GF BUN is TO DIE FOR. That typical denseness you find in gluten free bread was GONE! Light fluffy and delicious. Juicy burger with all the toppings I could ask for not to mention their secret burger sauce. WELL DONE.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Options available even have a separate fryer for fries!!
This was my first visit to the restaurant and I had a wonderful time. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the food and had a fantastic experience.
