5 stars all the way! We were passing through from Ohio and we’re so fortunate to find this charming place. The atmosphere is so cozy and quaint. We ordered Mahi Mahi tacos, wedge salad and ooey gooey butter cake w/ Carmel drizzle and ice cream I told my husband “forget manners, go ahead and lick the plate” . Our server Angel made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this delightful restaurant. What a treat! Service: Dine in
This is my favorite place with my favorite people and the best food! Dining at Kemp 208 feels like being in your mother's kitchen. It's like coming home, and there's nothing on the menu that isn't fantastic! Chef Jeff Madden does an amazing job, and I love how he incorporates different aromas and textures into his dishes. The ambiance of sitting in an old house adds a unique charm that can't be found anywhere else in Central Illinois!
The shrimp burrata was exceptional; the shrimp were perfectly cooked and generously portioned, while the sauce with roasted tomatoes was delightful. We also enjoyed the salmon, which had a lovely mustard glaze. I can confidently say I will return. This place is truly a hidden gem in Peoria. If you're seeking fresh, high-quality food and excellent service, I strongly encourage you to visit Kemp 208!

Kemp is one of my favorite dining spots! They use fresh ingredients, and the aromas of the dishes are delightful. The menu changes regularly, which makes it exciting to try new items! I adore the intimate atmosphere, and the service has always been exceptional. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and a must-try.
The staff is exceptional, and the service is top-notch. The food is extraordinary. I truly wish we could stay longer, as we would definitely return time and again. The ambiance makes you crave more.
