Made reservations for a Friday night. Service was a little slow at first but was very good overall. The server said the fish arrived weekly, which I guess is on par with other central Arkansas restuarants. We got a small bottle of cold sake that was a little fruity and refreshing. We ordered the yellow tail collar and the shrimp, both hot appetizers. The shrimp was meh, lots of sauce but not much flavor. The yellow tail collar was very good. We tried a few rolls, like the spicy tuna, the Austin, and the Golden Boy. Again, the Austin roll was a little bland, but the Golden Boy was OK. I went to the birthday dinner after kemuri. that was my first experience at eating in kemuri. I ordered the special Kemuri plate that is a mix of sushi and sashimi. I also had the calamari for an appetizer. I have lived in japan for 20 years and the Pacific Islands, so I'm a little picky when it comes to Japanese eating and sushi. everything was perfect. our server jeremy was also 5 stars. I would give him more if possible. jerrmy even has a perfect birthday desert for mr. thanks kemuri for a wonderful culinary experience.
the restaurant was very recommended for sushi and it was not disappointed. the sushi was very fresh and the server was fantastic. I ordered a few rolls to share with something sashimi. also ordered a meerrote ahi thunfischschale. the recommended dessert meets absolutely on the place. reservations are recommended as they continued like the evening, but we went early and they could accommodate us on a Tuesday night.
My husband and I shared a steak that was very good. I appreciate it when restaurants don't balk if you want to split an entree. That said, they didn't bring out another plate, but I just put my portion on a small bread plate. Waitress friendly and helpful. We were a party of six and everyone enjoyed their food. They brought out a nice dessert at no charge since it was our anniversary.
I would highly recommend Kemuri. I ordered the sushi and was extremely impressed, best sushi I have had in Little Rock so far. One word of caution, so to speak, the rolls are much bigger than traditional sushi rolls, so keep that in mind when ordering We really liked the hulk and the poison, but the Mama Mia was the by far the highlight, I would definitely recommend that.
First time to dine there. Place was crowded so we had to sit at a table on the side patio outside. Not a problem as the weather was agreeable. I don't eat sushi but my dinner companions do and they had the volcano roll. They claim it was delicious. My drunken noodles were tasty and plentiful and my double jack n coke was as expected. Staff was courteous and friendly.
one of the best restaurants in little rock. our server was funny and polite. we didn't have to wait too long to eat. we have made a reservation for our jubilee, but they thought it was birthday party, so they don't get the message right on the Dessert plate, but at least they tried to make the night special and we appreciate it. Of course, eating was super good!
absolutely fantastic experience. from the excellent and delicious cuisine, to the amazing service (danke carlos) we had an incredible evening meal. my parents visit from Germany and this place was set as "Must-have" for their next visit. I will try to visit kemuri more often in the meantime. amazing device.
Honestly, it was really great. I was there for girls night out celebrating my birthday. Everything we had was flavorful. Our waiter was extremely nice and friendly, so were all the people we interacted with.
