Ken Sushi is worth the drive for us. We come here for lunch every time we are in the area. The lunch specials are great! Today I got the pick two rolls special. I picked the Arizona and the crunchy spicy salmon rolls. The Arizona is made with yellowtail. The fresh fish in the roll were fatty. It was really good. I also got the uni nigiri. I was craving the creamy, fishy uni. It hits the spot! My bf ordered a bento box, which comes with the main with rice (he got basil chicken), miso soup, salad, three nigiri and a California roll. Not very friendly folks at all. Third time in but today felt like they were irritated to have customers. Not one person looked happy working here. They brought out my veggie roll with my husband's piece of fish on the same plate, we were so confused. Who does that? Didn't even explain so we thought we got wrong food. I asked for an iced tea to go she brought me an empty cup. Not a friendly lady at all. It obvious she is not a fan of Americans. Next time I won't drive an hour to eat at their location.
Definitely a must stop for some of the freshest sushi around! The rolls are very unique and well crafted. They offer plum wine among other Japanese beverages and the service is on point. Very friendly and very fast. The quality of the different sushi rolls makes it very hard to decide what to get. The menu is pretty extensive which is awesome and they offer Mochi.Parking: The righy turn into the shopping plaza is pretty sharp, so be careful at the light if someone is wanting to turn out.
I can't stop coming back! This sushi spot is my favorite in the Tampa Bay Area. It's tucked into a small strip area that you wouldn't think to check out just driving by. I'm glad I took a chance to check it out. I order the spicy tuna without fail every time I go. The lunch specials are great and the dinner prices are amazing for what you're getting. Definitely check it out if you want an amazing restaurant with great ambiance and food quality.

I fell into this sushi place and was pleasantly surprised.In a run-down strip of car stereo and smoke shops, this restaurant was packed.Sushi was fresh and well presented. I wish I had taken a picture of some of the boats and sushi platters that were being prepared. I had a front row seat at the bar.I would visit again next time I am in the area.
If I lived here, this would be a regular spot for me. We ordered 4 rolls, miso soup and seaweed salad and everything was absolutely delicious. The rolls were very unique and so good! The portions were large and the fish was very fresh and melted in your mouth. The presentation was also beautiful. Would recommend 10/10!!!
When I say the food was amazing, I mean it. Not sure I have ever had fresher tasting fish. Everything was perfect, especially the salmon tartare which isn’t pictured but was exceptional too. Best sushi in the area hands down.
Definitely the best sushi I've had in a long long time. My new favorite spot. The place is small so we had to wait a bit, but it was definitely worth it. Delicious, fresh, absolutely perfect!

Great place with great quality sushi. It took a little while to receive our rolls but the two gentlemen were working hard nonstop to prepare each item so we definitely didn't mind waiting.
Still one of our favorite places after 9 years. Best Suki Udon noodles around.
