Last Sunday we were about to spend a great tapas lunch at Kenji’s as we are used to since a couple of years now ! The main door was closed but it was like 1:00 pm .. I came in and asked with a nice smile in Spannish if the bar was open ! What a surprise this guy answered « si » like he was a real bad mood .. no smile no hola no thanks ... my husband was quite surprised as well but as lovers of the place which id worth it we came in anyway.. Both guys were in a bad mood apparently as they didn’t answer any of my question.. Despite the great place .. we went out and left the place .. and I am not sure we will get back again! We came here needing a change of pace after two weeks of Spanish food. It’s a good sign when we walked in and saw Japanese customers chatting with the Japanese proprietor. We ordered a couple of rolls, gyoza dumplings, miso soup, and the ramen. The ramen does not compare to the ones in Japan obviously, but if you need a fix, it’ll probably do. Other dishes were good, if not a bit expensive. Service was a bit rough because the only server just started the job and did not speak any English. The proprietor helped us with some of the orders. All in all, it’s a good place if you want a change of pace.
El ramen me encantó. Me invitaron a probar unas piezas de sushi mientras me prepararon el postre. Pude leer mientras cenaba tranquilamente, sin ruido y con un servicio fantástico. Era pronto y estaba casi vacío, pero al ser un sitio pequeño no es para grandes grupos, así que fue perfecto.
Nos sirvieron muy rápido teniendo en cuenta que era el día de San Sebastián y todo Donosti estaba a tope. El uramaki de viera estaba espectacular, muy recomendable.

Hemos probado los dos ramens y las tempuras. Todo esta bueno. La proxima nos pediremos la Costilla glaseada deshuesada que tenia buena pinta. Trato correcto.
Fuimos a cenar y todo estuvo muy bueno. Lo conseguimos de casualidad que íbamos caminando y como nos encanta el sushi decidimos entrar y no decepciona!
Compramos un par de bandejas para comer rápido y nos encantó. Nos las prepararon en el momento. Muy contentos tanto con el trato como con la calidad.
La comida excelente y de muy buen precio. Auténtica comida Japonesa. Muy buena variedad en alimentos. El personal es muy amable.

Pedimos ramen, gyozas y langostinos en tempura para llevar. Todo estaba muy rico y envases cómodos para llevar.
