Went to Kenny's on a concert night which is always a challenge! They were fully staffed and, though we had to wait a bit, the bartender got us beverages very quickly. My partner ordered fish and chips with tots. I had a veggie wrap with tots. Cheese on the tots was an option though we both declined tonight. As usual with Kenny's, orders were taken quickly and as we waited, our beverages were refreshed quickly. Staff was hustling, but all of them were pleasant and efficient. The fish was served with vinegar as a good option. The fish was hot and crispy, never greasy. My veggie wrap wad made with tomato, red peppers, black olives, a small bit of lettuce, mushrooms, onion, and cheese in a fresh...
Came with a large group for a late lunch. Easy in even with the bunch of us. Good selection of beer and food was of the Irish theme although central EU and America fare was there as well. Had the stew and the French dip (Dublin Dip) both of which were very good with a slightly different taste. Pickle soup was done very nicely. Adding a Guinness made it just right, indeed. Service was good but they forgot an order and had to be reminded.
Everything was delightful! I had the corned beef wrap a with side of tots. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their meals too. Staff were attentive and friendly! We got here early enough on a Monday(not many places open on Mon. , by the time we left it was very busy. I'd go back again for sure!
The old Kenny's down on Farmington Rd was nice but what Sean Kenny has done with the new building downtown is amazing! A great blend of a small Irish Pub atmosphere, outstanding food spirits, and a wide variety of live music. No doubt, it will be a staple in Peoria for years to come.
The homemade pretzels were delicious, the cheese dip was also. Not too spicey, not too bland with a wonderful flavor. Vegetable quesadas excellent, generous portions. Atmosphere was cozy and interesting and staff was great. Perfect pop in before seeing 'Celtic Women '.
New place on Jefferson St downtown is nice. Never visited the prior location. Jefferson is right around the corner from where I work so it's easy to pop in for a drink or two. Great food too! Drink prices are reasonable and wait staff is very attentive.
First time here. Great food and service for bar/pub food. Reasonable price as well. Recommend. If you're a trendy douche looking for over complicated and over priced food go closer to the river.
The food here is some of the best food in the area. I suggest the tenderloin, (add bacon and cheese to make it xxxtra tasty) or the Reuben quesadilla. Always great service.
I went on a Monday and enjoyed wings for half off... that was my 1st time, I'll definitely recommend others.... Very nice atmosphere.
