Had a pleasant meal at this popular East Malvern restaurant. A broad South East Asian menu is on offer. My table of three chose three entrees. First a delicious prawn avocado canape served on a crisp open wonton skin. It had a wonderful zing, spice crunch. The prawns were large juicy. Next was San Chow Bow, a lettuce cup filled with minced chicken, prawn, mushroom water chestnut served with hoisin sauce. This was my least favourite of the entrees as the filling was predominantly chicken while the other ingredients were lost indiscernible. The sauce did nothing the lift it. Dotted around Melbourne are restaurants that are culinary gems. Kerabu is one such restaurant, located amongst unlikely neighbours like a takeaway fish'n'chip store, cafe and bakery. Had dinner here tonight. We were a party of 4 and were upstairs. Nice and spacious but we were placed right on the stair well so had cold draft for half the night till it got warm upstairs. Plenty on the menu to grab your fancy. A lovely blend of Malaysian and Thai, with some unique dishes not seen in many other restaurants.<br/ <br/ Our Snapper with green mango and cashew salad ws delectable. The Red Duck curry was also very flavoursome, with beautifully toasted eggplant and decadent sauce. Beautiful south eastern Asian food. Best to book before you go as it gets packed out. Lovely dishes and nicely presented, upstairs seating is the best, although beware that they don’t cram too many tables in, ask for the nice round tables upstairs if you have 6 or more. Great variety of dishes. Easy to find parking along side street.
Kerabu at Glen Iris. Nice Thai food restaurant and great Thai curry cuisine. Very tasty and authentic but only problem is that too too slow. Waited over 30 mins for the entree and take more than one hour to have the food come all.

Great service and decor! Very lovely experience. <br/ <br/ I had the stir fried tofu and veg! Delish. Kerabu are accomodating to dietary requirements and allergies too. <br/ <br/ Would definitely go back to try more dishes!
