Our entire order was a complete disaster. They charged us for everything but failed to include one of our two orders of wings, the grilled corn, and the avocado mango salads. They also omitted two side house salads. To make matters worse, they forgot the sauces for the one order of wings they did send and replaced one of the salads with a baked potato, which really shows a lack of understanding of why someone would want a salad in the first place. It's really disappointing because the food had the potential to be great.
I ordered food from this restaurant for a former coworker's birthday over five years ago, but I can't recall if I got anything for myself at that time. I finally decided to try it out today. I wasn't particularly fond of the lemon potatoes—the lemon flavor was quite overpowering. The chicken was a tad dry, but it was well-cooked and had good flavor. I would definitely come back for the spinach rice and give another side dish a chance. The sauce was pleasant—not too spicy or sweet.
I found this restaurant through a YouTube channel I subscribe to, and during my weekend trip to the city, we decided to take the subway to Queens. We hopped on the E train at 53rd and 7th and got off at Kew Gardens, which was really convenient! I must say, this place is a hidden gem. The chicken is truly the best I've ever tasted. Thank you, Kew Gardens, for such a wonderful experience; we will definitely return! Do yourself a favor and make the trip – you won't regret it!
I've purchased chicken from this place several times, and I've learned that it's best to buy it right after it's been cooked. I've experienced both juicy and dry chicken. I think the dryness happens when the chicken sits in the warmer for too long after it's cooked. So, it's important to time your visit well to ensure you get the juicy chicken, which usually comes right after the initial lunch batch is made. They also offer a fantastic Greek salad as a side dish.

The lemon potatoes here are incredible—better than what you'll find even in Greece! The chicken is the best I've ever had, cooked over charcoal flames. There's no other place like this in New York. If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should! I'm very selective about where I eat, but this place is seriously underrated! You must also try their sweet potatoes; they are amazing! I absolutely love this place!
The food was fantastic! I ordered the Whole Chicken with two sides: a Greek salad and sweet plantains, plus a sweet baked potato. Everything was served warm, and the chicken was incredibly moist. I will certainly be ordering from them again!
This chicken restaurant was once excellent, but now the chicken is extremely dry. It tastes as if the cooked chicken has been left on the grill for days. Freshly made chicken is so much better. It's such a disappointment!
So sad finally ate here again and its under new management. Chicken not as grilled and they dont use the same pita bread they used to so now its dry. Very sad.
