The family decided to try KFC as it has been a couple years since we'd last tried it. Bought a mega feast, and we had timed our visit before the rush (around 6pm) so received it very quickly. We put the chicken in the oven for a bit when we got home as we find this removes some extra grease from sitting in the bucket. The zinger pieces and nuggets were great, but the original was underwhelming. Chips and potato and gravy were great, but the coleslaw has fallen in quality from what we remember. It used to be creamy and this one was very watery, nobody liked it all.More of a criticism against the chain instead of this individual restaurant. If you're a fan of KFC you shouldn't be disappointed...
At 11.45am last week at the Mount Pleasant KFC's I purchased a meal. The chicken was very well cooked and was room temperature, the inside was cold. I came to the conclusion due to the time of the day that the chicken was cooked the day before, and reheated, but could not be heated to a safe temperature for safe consumption as the outside was burning. I am aware that chicken can be very dangerous to ones health if not handled properly. I was not impressed and have no desire to end up in hospital because some one wants to make a quick profit. I suggest that if you really want to use this shop and the chicken appears to be recycled from the day before, contact the health department.
I was travelling through on Good Friday - nothing else open, so I had to have KFC from this joint. The hot and spicy chicken was dry and burnt, should have been thrown out, but I got it. It has been years since I last had this food and guess what it will be years before I ever have it again. The young man at the counter had no idea of what day it was, so when it came to answering questions about the choices of food he was hopeless. Negver again
My wife and I ordered a 3 piece meal each, asking to substute Coleslaw for the chips. There was NO sparkling Water or other Diet friendly sodas to choose from other than Pepsi MAX, so my wife had to go without a drink. The order was not correct as I had to go back and EXCHANGE the CHIPS for the POTATO AND GRAVY. It was probably the most GREASY KFC that we have had for many a year. In all it was not a pleasant meal after a long days driving

KFC doesn't vary with it's menu and taste as each store cooks the same. The store at Mt Pleasant is no exception. With the store catering in the main to shoppers and workers it is kept busy therefore the food is freshly cooked and not left standing. Service was ok.
Picked up 2 x 3 piece boxes today (New Years day) Chips had no salt and the chicken was overcooked dry and tough! Couldn't eat it! It was like it had been cooked over a few times! Disgusting ????????????
Got the family burger box and got it home chips had to go to the dogs. Always get done at this place about time food inspector was called in to shut them down
Ordered new pumpkin, feta grilled chicken wrap. Pumpkin was mash, feta was also mash and the chicken wasn't grilled as it had the crumbs on. Very disappointed

Drive through was quick and customer service very pleasant. Food was ok could have been a bit fresher but it hit the spot for the kids and I.
Been to this kfc a few times always the same the food is ok but the service is extremely slow But at least it ok to eat
