We tried somewhere new and totally regretted it. Neither the madras nor vindaloo were even remotely spicy. The king prawn dish contained 3 tiny prawns. Both dishes were swimming in oil, and the majority went in the bin. The response of the management was that they had looked at CCTV ??? and the correct quantity of prawns HAD gone in. Odd. And that 25 years of creating curry means they have finely tuned the spice levels for each dish. Well 25 years of eating curry has taught me about spice levels, and these were way off. AVOID AVOID AVOID
We’ve just ordered a curry for 3 people which cost £37.90!!! We ordered over the phone and when we questioned the price the man said that is the correct price and he’ll even send us a menu for us to check! The food came very quickly (half an hour) only to be warm, cold naan bread, and when we looked online to check the price it seems they offer 20% discount for online orders!! Very disappointed the man didn’t advise us this on the telephone when we questioned the price. Will never be ordering from here ever again such a disappointment!
I ordered through Deliveroo . They were already 30 minutes late . I rang asked where it was from they said on there way . I rang 30 minutes later . They said never had order . When I got on to Deliveroo, they offered me a free dish sorry but no, I went against my better judgement and gave you a chance, never again .
This was my first time ordering Indian food from Khatsuri and I was very disappointed. The quality of the food was bad, with hardly any chicken in the curry. The taste did not resemble authentic Indian curry at all. I will not be returning to this restaurant. It was a huge disappointment.
