"We came here because apparently it is a staple in El Paso. It has been around for ages. They are known for serving big plates of food for those that have been working outside. I am not sure why this place is so highly rated, because the food was not that good. The rice was good and the chips but the flautas were not, they had no flavor at all. The customer service was great though so that's why they get a 3."

I visited Kiki's Mexican Restaurant on my first night in El Paso, which happened to be on a Sunday. It was one of the few places open after 8, and since our Airbnb host had recommended it, we decided to give it a try. The restaurant appears to be one of the oldest establishments in El Paso, as evidenced by the numerous articles adorning its walls. I distinctly recall coming across an article from 1988, showcasing prices for Enchiladas ranging between $3-4. Fast forward 26 years, and the prices seem to have remained relatively unchanged in today's currency. Opting for the Number 2 combo plate with Brisket, I received 2 Red Enchiladas, One Meat Taco, and One Chile Relleno. This combo offered a...

A Timeless Gem I recently dined at this incredible Mexican restaurant that has been a staple in the community for generations, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The food is simply outstanding. I had the Combo Plate #3, which included a chile relleno, taco, enchilada, and flauta, all served with perfectly cooked rice and beans. Every bite was bursting with authentic flavors. We also tried the brisket machaca, which was tender and savory, accompanied by the classic rice and beans. The servers were exceptionally nice and made us feel right at home with their warm and friendly service. This place truly captures the essence of traditional El Paso cuisine and hospitality. If you're...

Food: Authentic Mexican cuisine w/ a vast selection. We enjoyed: Appetizers.... -Seemed to be endless, Chips Salsa. -Shrimp Cocktail -Guacamole Main Courses.... -Three Cheese Enchiladas w/ Red Green Sauce refried beans Mexican rice. -Chile Colorado w/ refried beans rice. The zesty red sauce was very good. The meat was tender and the flavor ran deep into the potatoes. I was pleased to use the corn tortillas to doctor up a bean and cheese burrito used the zesty sauce for added flavor. More than enough food, I was able to bring home a midnight snack. The service was phenomenal, fast, energetic, friendly and fun. Great crew. The ambiance was a late afternoon on Saturday. There was plenty of seat...

Come prepared for a wait, regardless of when you come. Just grab a beer at the bar and wait patiently with everyone else if there's a line. This is a locals' place. Hole in the wall, historic building, friendly family vibe. Very clean. The menu is crazy soooo hard to decide what to order. We got a bowl of caldillo for a shared appetizer, and brisket machaca, picadillo, a beef burrito special for entrees. Best caldillo ever full of green chile, tender beef, and comforting potatoes in a rich broth. Definitely try the acclaimed brisket machaca for a cheesy beefy experience. The picadillo was surprising with a scrumptious hard sear on the beef and a relatively dry texture far different from the... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Kiki's was recommended to me by a relative and I'm so glad I had a chance to go. A little off the beaten path (a good thing) and far from your chain of Mexican restaurants. I liked the old diner feel it has, from the old pictures in the wall to the football helmets on the counter. The service was spot on. I really like that they bring a small pitcher of whatever you're drinking along with your drink. I was told to get the Machaca (brisket). WOW That is a huge plate of goodness!! Of course chips and homemade salsa is served before, during and all throughout your meal. They claim to have wonderful desserts too! I'm not sure how you could eat them, but maybe you could take one home? When in El P...

Strange but the food was crazy ridiculously good! Had the special which was Steak Fajitas. The meat was tender with grilled tomatoes, onions and hatch chilies. Rice and beans were also really good, beans had melted cheese on them.. Wsitresse was very attentive and helpful. The were quite a few people here and wasn't noisy. I'd eat here again. Was told to try the seafood enchiladas and kinda bummed I didn't as what I got was very tasty. Guessing would have had my mind blown.

Today 08.01.24 what a wonderful way to bring in a new month. I came back here for the second time and had what were possibly the best cheese enchiladas I have ever had. If this was Once Upon A Time in Mexico, Johnny Depp would have strolled back to the kitchen and offed the chef they were that delicious. The beans and rice also life changing. The vibe here pure El Paso. The service excellent. 2/2 on providing an excellent meal and a superlative experience overall.

First time here at the recommendation of some good friends. We are better friends now after this great time. My wife and I had the number 3 combo plate which has just about one of every Mexican staple. Relleno, Taco, Enchilada, Flauta, rice beans. All were well done. Seating pretty standard, cozy dining area. Our server, Bruno, was attentive, but not overly so, providing just what was needed when it was needed. Overall we'll be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I just can 't get behind a restaurant with no liquor license that sell/s margaritas that taste like 99% mix from the bottle and 1% mystery wine. The entire restaurant smells like floor cleaner, not pine sol, or bleach, just generic cleanser that may or may not be toxic. Shrimp cocktail is okay, and there 's one beer on draft. Really want to like this local spot, but I 'm not impressed and would be hard pressed to return.
