Consistently delicious hibachi; have been coming here for years! The portions are huge, so you'll definitely have enough for leftovers. Came here tonight with my family and got the filet mignon/lobster hibachi and a piece of uni sushi. As always, the hibachi did not disappoint. The rice, veggies and noodles were excellent and my steak was cooked to perfection. The uni was too cold and tasted like it had been previously frozen so I would skip that next time. Our waitress was the only reason I docked a star. My family really enjoys this restaurant for hibachi. It may be a bit pricey, but the entertainment of the chef cooking in front of you keeps the kids entertained. They were very accommodating to food allergies, especially gluten allergies, by offering separate servings. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend trying the scallops. They offer a variety of mixed drinks and beers, but I opted for sake. They have around 7 cold sake options to choose from. I'm not a sake expert, but it was quite satisfying. Be sure to make a reservation, as the hibachi tables fill up quickly. Also, they won't seat you until everyone in your party has arrived, so make sure your latecomers are on time!
I was surprised to see all of the negative reviews, but we have been coming to this restaurant every December for a few years now. The food is consistently good, the chef's interactions are great, and the service is efficient and friendly. Our requests and allergy issues were accommodated last night, and the food was exceptionally tasty. The only complaint we had was that the soft shell crab roll was flavorless. However, the Alaska and Godzilla rolls were amazing. Everyone in our group also enjoyed their hibachi meals. With 6 adults, 4 kids, lots of drinks, and dessert, our total bill after tax and tip came to $684.
I was recommended Kiku by a friend so we gave it a try for my boyfriends birthday. We were originally a group of 12 and eventually went down to a group of 8 and they were super understanding. Most of my group got Sirloin steak hibachi and we were very happy with our choice. The fried rice is an addition charge but definitely worth the extra amount. They asked us if we wanted to purchase ice cream privately for our birthday boys so we did. And they sang happy birthday with the gong. Our hibachi chef was very nice and fun. It's been a very long time since I had Hibachi food and this place didn't disappoint. I went here for lunch as a recommendation from a friend and this place was good. Also the service was nice and the staff was very entertaining. The ambience was also nice inside. Only thing I have to say is that next time I come here, I will ask the chef about the salt intake. My food was a bit high on the sodium side. However it won't prevent me from coming back here once again.
I have been to this restaurant a few times. The restaurant is welcoming. The service is good, but the really slow. Expect to spend 2-3 hours for hibachi. We arrive a party of 10, made a reservation well in advance. From start to finish we were the last table to leave at 9pm The food was good, but the use of soy sauce was very heavy. I would return possibly but not my first hibachi I would choose a different restaurant in the future.
My hibachi experience at Kiku was pretty good. Our chef was really nice and fun, and our servers were attentive. I'd say our food was a bit on the saltier side the whole night. However, the portion size was huge! I had a lot of leftovers to take home for another meal. The restaurant itself looks nice. Space is a little tight at each grill, and sometimes the noise of other grills can be overpowering. Overall though, great time!
The hibachi chef has updated their techniques, but still plays current pop songs. It's a fun experience to have dinner with a group. The food is tasty and you can see all the ingredients being added, like chunks of butter. We also tried the nabayaki udon, which had one shrimp tempura and a soy sauce flavored soup, but it was decent. They provide beginner chopsticks for kids. Another birthday and another great meal! We love celebrating here! The service is top notch and the food is amazing. The atmosphere with all the gongs for birthdays and the chefs singing and entertaining us are always fun! I highly recommend!
