We are here a few weeks ago and had a decent experience but not up to par with other Killen’s restaurant experiences. Our waiter was precious and could not have been nicer! The food was… meh, okay. Killen’s Steakhouse and Killen’s in theHeights blow this place away when it comes to food. Here’s my biggest complaint: we made reservations online for 8:30 and wewere called by the restaurant earlier in the evening and told/asked if we would move to 8 since they could fit us in and thekitchen closed at 9. I said yes however we might be late because we are coming from an event. We ended up being about 8:15 andwe were called and reminded 3 times upon arrival that they closed at 9. It felt like we w...
first time here and probably my last. I had high expectations of this place, heard good things but then again that was before the pandemic not sure if the service went downhill since covid or what. we came on a week night out it was almost empty, and wehad ok service not that great, our waiter spent more time and chit chatted with other ppl than us. food was OK not special orgreat which I hope to be because I've been to other Killen restaurants and food and the service is always great and since thiswas on the higher end I expected more but was let down and this was one of the few restaurants I been to that does not offer afree dessert on your birthday, I'vebeen to many different steakhouses...
We ordered Habanero Cherry BBQ Pork Belly, Bone Marrow Herbs, Perfectly Grilled Filets, and Mac Cheese. Our waiter said that the pork belly was a “religious experience” and it did not disappoint. We even got to take some extra BBQ sauce home,which I used on everything! 4 stars only because the mac and cheese was a bit dry and the restaurant was freezing, but I mayhave just been sitting near a vent. Everything was great and I would absolutely recommend!
We went with great friends for a Birthday Dinner and we have zero complaints!!! None. The staff were all fantastic as well as every dish that we tried. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we were able to get above a quiet roar as the drinks kicked in….: nothing was rushed…
