I've gone here twice after working out and damn... that laksa really hits the spot!! As some of the other reviewers stated, the broth is more on the fishier side but is full of flavor and absolutely perfect with some added sambal that they provide on the side! The char kway teow is also pretty good and decently sized (I got 2 portions out of it! . My friend ordered the kaya toast and the potato curry puff. She really liked the kaya toast but said the potato curry puff was nothing to write home about. You order pay at the counter, get a number, and find a seat and they deliver the food to you. So glad my friend showed me this place! I love the visual coffee chart of their menu, showing you what is exactly in your drink. I got the Yuan Yang Coffee which was a mix of coffee, black tea and condensed milk. I personally found it to be just the right amount of sweetness and the coffee flavor was strong but toned down with the black tea. I have made Kaya toast at home before using their Killiney Jam from Singapore, but eating it at this restaurant was way better! The Kaya toast was about $5 for two pieces of toast with a thin layer of butter and Kaya jam in between. It just delicious. Food: 5/5 heavenly food. Nasi goreng was super nice. The chicken in hainan chicken rice was tender and flavorful. Rice was covered in the right amount of chicken oil.Service: 3/5 you order at the register and find yourself a table. The problem with this system is that they do not have enough staff to clean. Lots of dirty tables and people who ordered will be standing around waiting for them to be clean. Ambiance: 4/5 nice little casual Asian style place. Grab a chair and sit.
Came here for a quick bite and was not disappointed. Got the Ayam Penyet which features a fried chicken. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy. The fried tofu was crispy and spongy. Overall, it was a good fast casual spot and I will probably come back to try their other dishes.
