I had the spicy beef goulash soup and a carving combo, while the rest of my party ordered brisket, a bratwurst combo, and a beef dish. The portions were generous and we had to pack some of the food to take home. We also ordered two beer samplers - one domestic and one imported, with different varieties. This place is a GEM. The bar is a stunning relic built in 1890 with custom antique refrigerators and beautiful tin ceilings. I have always loved coming here However the last few times the food has really improved. I had to ask if there was someone new in the kitchen and apparently they do have some new talented hands in the Kitchen from another German Bierhaus that recently shut its doors. What a fantastic place. They had several German beers on tap which were all amazing. The menu great the two other people I was with enjoyed their meal as much as I did. One is from Long Island and requested we go back again tonight before he leaves.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to unwind and savor genuine cuisine as well as a wide selection of beers. My band, Quartet of Catastrophe, will be performing there. It is hands down the top venue for its outdoor stage and welcoming staff.
