There were just two of us, and we had a wonderful Japanese experience. Initially, we thought the restaurant might be a bit too dark and smoky for our taste, as we're both over 60 and prefer brighter settings. However, we quickly overlooked that thanks to the attentive service from Belinda, who took great care of us. The drink selection was impressive, offering a wide variety. The food was fresh and not overly greasy or heavy like many tapas can be. Sitting at the bar and watching the chefs at work was a delightful experience. We enjoyed skewers of chicken and beef, cabbage salad, rice, and asparagus wrapped in pork belly, which had a perfect smoky flavor. All of this was reasonably priced an...
We had an incredible evening at the cocktail tasting at the bar. Adam was a fantastic host, and the cocktails were impressively creative. The entire experience was definitely worth it. The food was also exceptional, which we expected from this talented team. They truly excel at what they do. We may have left feeling a bit tipsy, but it was entirely worth it. I would absolutely do this again, and it’s a perfect spot to bring out-of-town guests for something unique. Thank you for a wonderful night—I'll be back for the tangelo cello!
What an incredible experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt transported back to Japan. The food and drinks were authentically delicious; their Sapporo beer on tap is actually brewed in Japan, and it was a delightful taste sensation. We ordered the Kingfish, which was incredibly fresh, along with a selection of yakitori skewers. I must say, the asparagus and pork belly stood out, as did the fried chicken. I can't wait to return and explore more of the adventurous items on the menu!

What an amazing 'Gold Coast Gem '. The food was incredible, the ambience was amazing and the staff were helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The cocktails were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something a bit special. Cant wait to come back and try some more dishes!! THANKS IKU!!
Such an amazing night! Completely and utterly perfect! Every drink and dish was incredible, the music was so on point and the staff were so attentive, knowledgeable and super friendly. We loved it, can’t wait to go back!
