I was looking for a place to meet up with a friend near Kings Cross for drinks and after some research, I chose King Charles I. I'm happy I did because it's a lovely pub with a great selection of well-kept beers, lagers, stouts, and ciders. It's a bit small inside, so it was quite crowded when I arrived around 6:15 on a Monday evening, but it gradually thinned out as the night went on. The music was enjoyable and not too loud. I would definitely return for a few drinks when I'm in the area again.
We stumbled upon this quaint pub after leaving another nearby establishment. Despite its small size, we found the atmosphere to be very cozy and intimate. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely consider coming back in the future.
