1st thing is it's all you can get in a bowl. Last time we dined here we had a very rude waitress told me I had too much on my plate and she would charge me extra. I said I have been eating a bowl like this since before the owner change, She tried to charge me price for a large but I clearly had the Med bowl. Service was slow staff kept going in the back I think they were eating. Had to pester to get a glass of water never did get tea I ordered Happen to get a glimpse in the kitchen it wasn't the cleanest. The placement of the sauces needs to be better protected as customers just drip sauce into other sauce. I like the peanut sauce but the hot sauce is next to it and I can't eat the hot sauce...
A friend and I went here for lunch. It's a bar-style setup, where you pick your own ingredients and sauces, the chef cooks the food right-then-and-there on a big round grill (which you can watch if you'd like), and the waitress delivers to your table. (She will help with picking sauces if you'd like as well). The food came very quickly even though it was fairly busy. I picked a bunch of veggies, and it was great--very tastey! They have sugar-free sauce options for those watching their waistlines.
I like the food but, you're essentially putting your meal together yourself. So whether it's good or bad, you can only blame yourself lolThey cook very quickly, so there's a very short wait time. The staff makes no impression on me whatsoever. However, I like the fact that I don't get interrupted with How's everything'? or 'Can I get you anything else'?
I love any place like this where a vegan a meat eater and someone who is allergic to a bunch of stuff can all have all you can eat! Since you get to choose what you want for veg and sauce and meat etc it's different every time and people who don't like or can't have one thing or another have tons of options! Let me say that this pace is not pretty but interesting in that you fill your bowl with the meats, veggies, noodles and sauces of your choice and have the man at the grill fry it up for you. I really like this place even if it is a tad on the shabby side for looks. Decent pricing if you know how to prepare your own meal.
I have been eating at the Mongolie Griii for 20 years an the food is great.So I had expectations.The prices are about the same, no soup included, no rice wraps, the selection is limited, the meat and seafood are frozen ( poor quality) and the sauces are watered down. The service was ok.
We visited for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. This is kind of a Mongolian self-serve buffet, with different kinds of meat, vegetables and salads, and a great variety of sauces. You choose the size of your bowl, fill it up and have it cooked. Very healthy and inexpensive!
