Absolutely love this place. Been coming for years. And it seems like it's getting better every time. An actual restaurant that cares about improving and it's experience and not resting on his Laurels but rather building upon them to create a much more spectacular German American Experience. The owner and his family is super friendly as well as the Fantastic staff that never ceases entertain. The food and beer selection is inspired. If Only They would do a pan fried schnitzel. The service was excellent and the staff were very patient with us as we had several questions about the menu since it was our first time there. We are familiar with German food and found it to be great. The schnitzel options were pork or chicken and the sausages were delicious. We also tried the cream cheese strudel, which was made on site and was also very good. We learned that King's Bierhaus in the Heights is affiliated with this restaurant, so we will definitely have to try that next. Overall, we loved our experience and will definitely be returning.
With a friendly staff on a week day, not easy to find these days. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered the all you can eat sausage special for the month of August. I have to say my favorite two are the spicy kielbasa and the chicken both filled with flavor and balanced spices. The atmosphere was fun with a vast selection of beers live music in the covered patio Great family style restaurant and definitely fun at night Helped by a sweet and friendly bartender named Ashley Will definitely be back to try the ribs and side orders.
Tried this place on a whim what a novelty!! The outside was fun and kooky, nostalgic and welcoming... inside the atmosphere was warm and lots of homage to castles knights. Menu was fun the 'wurst ' I 've ever seen! Service, my waiter was a delight and seemed to like his job which was refreshing. This restaurant is absolutely charming! The staff wear traditional German attire and the menu features a variety of European sausages, including some unique options for the adventurous diner. They also serve German beer and side dishes. I would definitely return, it's a fantastic place!
This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and Kevin's recommendation for beer and bratwurst was spot on. The food is top quality and it's no wonder why this place is considered the best German restaurant in America.
Great hidden gem if you appreciate good German food. With nice weather they have the patio to sit on and hear live music. They were so very nice to accommodate our very large group as well. Absolutely recommend!
