It's refreshing to find authentic Chinese food outside of predominantly Chinese neighborhoods, even if it means I'll fork over a pretty penny for it. The first time I dined here I sat down with some amount of skepticism but I couldn't deny the flavors and have returned many times since. I've since learned that the owners and chefs come from a long tradition of cooking Chinese food and it definitely shows in the food. As is typical of Chinese food, dishes are meant to be shared family style, so I highly recommend scooping up some foodie friends to split a bunch of dishes with you. Bonus points if you're able to sit at one of the booth tables with a Lazy Susan for the full communal dining expe...
Not authentic but a decent attempt at typical Americanized fast food Chinese food. I've eaten from here only a hand full of times seeing as it's less salty and oily than other spots but the pricing is so outrageous. The must try: sesame noodles and seafood fried rolls. The okay: eggplants (very yummy but a bit too saucy/salty nothing too horrid) and ribs. The staples: rice (any of them as they'll help soak up the heavy handed sauciness of other dishes). The cons: fatty meat dishes, overcooked seafood and only one good cocktail (Kamehameha). Overall a slightly better option from other fast food joints but I think my wallet begs to differ with me.
I went to kings co imperial on this Saturday with my boyfriend for a dinner date.I ordered general TSO’S chicken, the mushroom noodles, the egg drop soup, chicken dumplings, fried mushrooms. I have never tried this good Chinese food in a long time, the egg drop soup with shrimp is a must try and the fried mushrooms too. The portions are pretty big, even after finishing our whole dinner. we were still able to take everything for our next meal?
Strolled in after a casual park day. Absolutely fire . Brought us into the back room, killer vibes. Started with the fried calamari in this orange zesty sauce. The pork belly, noodles and chicken dumplings were very good. We ended with the whole fish. Crispy Fried and buttery on the inside, melts. There was also a smokey Moscow mule that was perfect.
By far one of the best Chinese restaurants in Brooklyn, or I should say NYC. I’ve been here twice and the food quality is consistent. Service is great. The menu is simple and you can’t go wrong with anything. Highly recommended!
so good. the dry fried long bean was so tasteful and delicious. I can't remember what I still have cuz, it was a bit ahead of me that I left, but it's all beaten so hard. cool atmosphere too.
I wanted to go here for a while, and it wasn't disappointed! so good we have the half-wh, green beans, dumplings and noodles and it was a lot of eating for 3. look forward to a return flight!
perfect meal, a little too much seasonal. super tasty overall though and definitiw a hidden hole in the wall that deserves much more attention
