What a fantastic restaurant! I celebrated my birthday by having lunch with my daughter and grandchildren here. Our waiter, Carson, provided amazing service. The food was exceptional and we even got to enjoy some cupcakes that my family brought, which Carson served after our meal. As an extra surprise, Carson also brought me a beautiful fresh strawberry shortcake. We have definitely found our new favorite spot in Carlsbad. A big thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful experience!
When for lunch. Overall, it was a good experience with a few minor issues. For example, one item on my plate was supposed to be hot it was room temp (at best). Also, my biggest issue with 98% of restaurants applies here is that the music is too loud, not appropriate for the venue or both. A very subjective comment, I know, but I know what I like.... It is not an inexpensive restaurant, but seafood is expensive. I'd be willing to give them another try before making a final decision.
The food at this restaurant is amazing, as well as the drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There are plenty of options in both categories. The waiter, Daniel, was awesome - attentive, incredibly polite, and a pleasure to talk to. He is a great asset to King's Fish House! Thank you for providing an overall fantastic experience. The ceviche was perfect, and the beet salad was delicious. Everything was tasty, and the buttercake dessert was absolutely amazing!
The Lobster at King's Fish House is always fresh and delicious! The service is exceptional as well. Our family has been coming to King's Fish House for years and it's always been a favorite spot for us. We love dining here with the whole family. This meal was a partial complementary paid by Kings for a disappointing review I placed. My wife went back to give it a second try. The meal itself was ok, the service could of been a little more involved. I am sorry to say at the prices they charge this is not a place I will be going back to
Noise level options should offer more choice, The outdoor seating option offered to us was far away from many many empty tables that would have been fine, but we we seated where the nearby I-5 traffic sounds were deafening and made conversation very difficult.
Cons Spicy fish chowder's taste was a bit off with some questionable fish particulate in it. Waitress rushed the meal. Pro BBQ shrimp entre was very good. Ambience was very nice.
Kings Fish House is always amazing. Food and service is consistent. Definitely my go to for seafood and that delicious sour dough bread. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
