I had a wonderful meal at Kings last night. I ordered the soft-shelled crab, which I hadn't had in ages, and it was exceptionally flavorful. Everyone else in our group also loved their dishes. For the first time in a long while, we decided to try dessert, and I chose the strawberry shortcake. It was a fantastic decision! There were plenty of fresh strawberries, delicious whipped cream, and the biscuit underneath was delightful. Our server, Nicole, was fantastic as always.
Great ambiance, fast service and delicious seafood. Not quite as special as the last time. The bartender did not know how to make my drink, my shrimp was overcooked, and the cauliflower had a sauce on it which I couldn't identify and did not like. The other members of our party had better luck with their food but the cosmos were not very good.
Best Cadillac Margarita I have ever had. Then you get the blackened scallops with mashed potatoes and pay the extra for the bacon brussel sprouts, it's worth it. Then get another Cadillac Margarita. Best day/night ever. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Definitely not the best King's Fish House experience at the Laguna location. Waitress would disappear and party would be left waiting for drinks or food.
