For my birthday (03/04) I decided to treat myself to fish and chips from Kings, I used the Just Eat link for the first time and paid the £14.29. I received a text to say it would be with me at 17.15, by 17.40 I still hadn 't receive my meal. At 17.54 I received at call from at carer at an address (Finchfield) around the corner from me, I live in Britton Crt, to say my order had been there for over 30mins. I immediately rang Kings to complain and was told its not their problem I need to contact 'Just Eat ', I asked if they could give me a contact number for the driver of the company, I was told 'no we can 't help with that, you need to go on the website '. We went in today as you can now eat in. We have been buying take out during the covid crisis but it is so nice to go in and sit down. Hubby had the set meal, cod, chips,, roll and tea and I had the Cod bites with chips . Wow !! they are so nice, the batter is really light and the fish excellent. Hubby said he was great as always. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep.
Pulled up outside and got someone to ask the manager for large haddock and chips as I can't get out due to being in a wheelchair He was quite arrogant and said I have to go in and collect it because either him or the 3 or 4 staff could not bring it 30ft out the shop Needless to say I would never use him in future The pug of a man
We both had large cod chips mushy peas buttered roll and a wally ....the whole meal was absolutely spectacular . A really friendly lady served us , we also had a coffee each which was also extremely good . A exceptionally good dinner and would highly recommend eating here

Had our first takeaway from here last night. Chips weren’t hot but the spare ribs were more like pork strips. Very big and tough. Not like spare ribs at all. The barbecue sauce was runny. Will not use again.
Probably the best fish and chips I have ever had! The fish and the chips were cooked perfectly and arrived hot. The traditional fish and chip packaging made it even better. Well done Kings!
Normally 10/10 for kings sent my son down for Father's day 4 portions, Cod sizes v small and chips were barely a handful with each portion v disappointed. be bit more generous guys .......
Food amazing arrived piping hot . Chicken lovely . Had fish last time spot on . Chips to die for . Our number one takeaway. Delicious. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed

Really disappointing fish was over cooked and batter soggy and had strange taste, chips were cold as were mushy peas. Will not be ordering again from them!
Just had takeaway fish and chips fish nice and fresh, chips must have been reheated over and over. Will not use this takeaway again
