We had a poor experience here about two years ago, but we decided to give it another chance due to the limited local dining options. Unfortunately, the food was truly unpleasant. The egg rolls were overcooked, the wonton soup had a strange and off-putting chemical smell, and the sesame chicken had a texture that suggested it was made from the less desirable parts of the chicken, like knuckles and tendons. We ended up having to throw everything away except for the white rice and chicken with broccoli. It was a complete waste of money, and we won’t be returning. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Being the only Chinese restaurant in our town, we don’t have many options, but fortunately, it exceeds expectations. The pickup times are impressively quick. We particularly enjoy the General Tso tofu and the Singapore mai fun. The cold sesame noodles are also fantastic. The family running the restaurant is very friendly. Overall, it’s a solid choice for takeout in Valatie.
Had take out tonight.awful! The soup was tasteless, the wontons hard and under cooked. Steamed dumplings were under cooked and very small. The shrimp lomein was ok but I won’t order here again. Save your money and go to Hannafords get a frozen PF Chang entree, you’d be better off. Nothing in my $30 order was edible. Seriously horrible. Ordered beef chop suey got chicken no sauce and tasted bland. The only flavor was the salt and pepper I added to choke it down. NASTY
