It used to the the place to be for the best chicken and chips with gravy. Now its not cooked with love, quite bland and they don't take orders very well. We've had an issue with one in Kippax and from that experience, I wont be returning to that restaurant. As for Belconnen's restaurant, I found the food underwhelming bland and not enjoyable.Since the change of management in Canberra years ago, it hasn't been the same since. Its a real shame.
I have never ordered Kids' Meals Deals before. I have always ordered small/regular chips on my usual runs with my son.After the Kids' Meal Deal we did with Chicken fingers, I am absolutely stoked with the chips and fingers we got!We both were full and I just couldn't eat a proper dinner that night. My son is 2 years old and he's always hungry ;)They're awesome and am going to order Kids' Meal whether my son is with me or not.
Ordered a grilled chicken burger and was handed a piece of chicken in a bag with tandoori sause in another bag...... asked where the burger was only to be told I didnt order one. The chips were cold and the chicken piece I ordered was tiny and overcooked. Have purchased food here before and no problems but very disappointed this time. Really awful.
The older rude man behind the counter needs to go, he picks on the younger staff in front of customers and is always grumpy. He is the reason I no longer come here, staff should be treated with respect and not made to feel like they are been constantly watch and berated in front of customers, very unprofessional. Southern fried Chicken. Kinsley's would have to make the yummiest fried chicken ever. I'd been told about it before i moved to Canberra but it surpassed my expectations. So much better than that other well known brand and the prices are ok too.
Cant get enough of the Chicken, It is great value for money and the portion sizes are huge. I dunno whats in it I just know I cant stop eating it.
There's probably nothing I love more than a Kingsleys southern fried chicken burger with both coleslaw and gravyA bit indulgent? Perhaps.
