We didn't have a very good experience. We ordered some drinks, including a bottle of wine and then proceeded to order food. We had someone in the dinner was intolerant to garlic and were told by the owner, who served us, that no dishes could be done without garlic. There was no effort to alter dishes or check with the kitchen if anything could be done so we had no choice but to leave. Not only did we have to pay for the glasses of beer (which we were happy to do) but also asked to pay for the bottle of wine which was untouched! We had a really good experience in Kion Sui. The staff was friendly, inviting, knowledgeable of the menu and respectful. The food is very good, we had crab dim sums served at a perfect temperature and with a very good seasoning. We also had the cilantro ceviche which is very good as well, just I didn't like the fried corn on the ceviche, the texture was extremely hard and not pleasant. We finish with the Wok de Costillas, which are to die for, extremely soft meat with an amazing seasoning. Drinks were also good.
Este restaurante lo conozco muy bien, ya que mi esposa y yo somos buenos clientes desde hace más de cuatro cuatro años. La atención del personal, empezando por el dueño, presente en muchas ocasiones, es excelente. Las especialidades, ceviche, tiraditos de pescado, arroz chaufa, empanadillas peruanas, hamburguesas wagyu, gambas rojas en ceviche, etc. son para disfrutar. Estupenda cocina. La terraza exterior es un lugar muy agradable para el almuerzo o la cena en estos cálidos días y noches.
He visitado varias veces esta casa, tanto para comer de carta en fin de semana como el menú del día (el Nikkei en mi caso, con ceviche de atún, delicioso) Ninguno de los platos defrauda, pero hay que hacer mención especial a las vieiras, el arroz chaufa y el lomo saltado.Y hay que dejar hueco para cualquiera de las tareas del postre, que son espectaculares. Todo esto en un bonito local de diseño original, o en su terraza a elegir: cubierta y con calefacción, o al sol.
