1. The sea urchin dish is gritty and much smaller than what other restaurants offer. 2. The Double Toro roll looks different in the picture compared to what we received; instead of whole pieces of Toro on top, it was ground toro. 3. Upon entering the restaurant, there is a foul odor reminiscent of vomit. 4. I am concerned about getting sick from eating their food. 5. My boss mentioned that it was her first time trying Japanese food of this quality.
I was informed by the restaurant staff today that the tempura contains egg. I have doubts about the vegetarian rolls being truly vegan. The restaurant mainly offers deep-fried rolls, which can be fun, but I wish they had more options for fresh vegetable rolls. Personally, I am not a fan of their ramen. a new (sept 2021) Japanese restaurant in the belmont area with a relatiw large selection of vegetarian and vegan options. we ordered to go and the rolls are delicious. inside and outside seats are available. strip mall parking in front of the restaurant. note: the workers confirmed that they use vegan cream cheese in vegan rolls. updated by previous review on 2021-09-23
The vegan sushi in Belmont is top-notch in my opinion. I was pleased to find a wide selection of vegetarian/vegan rolls, as well as vegan ramen. The portions were generous and the service was excellent. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Lots of really tasty vegan rolls here! A bit pricey but sushi is a date night treat for me anyway. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, which is great since I also have a sesame and nut allergy.
This restaurant is amazing! The pieces of nigiri Sake Toro were incredibly thick and melted in my mouth. I also loved the Double Toro Roll. I will definitely be ordering from here again!
