Kisuke Japanese Restaurant

I've been here a few times, it was one of a Japanese colleagues favourite restaurants. Mostly I've been here as part of a large group, with many Japanese people. This time I came with my family to celebrate a birthday. ***** Don't book via Messenger, although they say they'll take bookings this way. They claimed the booking wasn't written in the book so we're ready to turn me away until I showed the thread, which confirmed the booking.Food was great, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed everything she ate. Courses are fairly small so not great value, but the food makes up for it.Service was mixed, but the younger Japanese girl did a fantastic job.

If this restaurant was located in Sydney city or in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney, it would be bursting at the seams with foodies. The reason: This is high quality, real Japanese food set in a simple modern restaurant. Daily specials accompany the standard menu. Sushi and sashimi are excellent and fresh, along with all other cooked delicacies. Prices are fair.Licensed and BYO. Bookings are a good idea. This restaurant has a strong local following and is not large in size. You can catch the M40 bus from the city but you would need a taxi home.... a taxi stand awaits just a few metres away. I went twice in April 2017. Excellent.

Fresh, quick and delicious: every mouthful! Kisuke is tucked away up a little hill but is so worth a visit. Clearly the locals know about it. The spinach with sesame seeds had just the right 'umame' to make you want to eat much more; the agedashi tofu was silken and the sauce balanced to perfection. Salmon teriyaki was equally satisfying. Green tea to finish off and we celebrated the perfect clean meal. Definitely worth coming back!Service is personal and responsive - a big tick!

This is a really great little restaurant.Four of us went here mid week and had a great night.There is so much choice, we shared entrees and it all tastes good. Itś a good way to try lots of different dishes and in hindsight we should have ordered a couple more entrees instead of mains. Though there was nothing wrong with the mains.There is a good variety of drinks and the Japanese beer was a special. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Busy little restaurant that provides prompt service & mostly good well cooked and presented food. An added bonus is that this restaurant is also byo wine for a small corkage charge.We really had a delightful meal here. I thought the tongue was little over cooked otherwise all good.

We have been eating lunch & dinner here for sometime and have always found the food to be of a high quality. My wife is Japanese and says the dishes are very good. A bonus at lunch are the lunchbox specials. Just enough for a lunch meal and very good value.

Venue is a bit bland but spotlessly clean. Food was excellent and service was efficient. For a local place the price was fair though the food was definitely a cut above what one would expect Nice to see a number of Japanese people eating there

Visited this restaurant with friends. The staff were polite and attentive and the food delicious. We had a wide selection of food which was cooked beautifully and well presented. It is small so book to be sure of a table. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Small, nice feel, open eating in summer,friendly service. There's nothing particularly surprising but the food and sake are great, the blackboard menu is always interesting, and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Consistently excellent quality food and friendly service. Have eaten here on many occasions and never been let down. Bookings essential.
