Not sure what happened here, but last 2-3 visits not very consistent, and the last being the worst. When you spend $60 on 2 sandwiches, a wrap and 2 drinks the food should be decent. This time, the Chicken Delight was a joke. The breaded chicken cutlet was or looked like it was butterflied-which means it was split in half which was NEVER the case before. Then they proceeded to place on the grill and literally burnt the ends. Very very bad. I should have known something was off, when I entered. When you enter the back entrance, there was a note on the door notifying customers that they were short staffed, and placing orders or something might take some time, and just ask for your patience. THE WOMAN AT THE CASHIER IS THE WORST!! EXTREMELY RUDE ! She literally told me “you can not stay here with this dog” . She didn’t even ask but it’s a 7 pounds service dog. It’s against the law this type of discrimination. Although all the employees were very kind and even there the guy who makes the sandwiches did EXACTLY what I wanted without even explaining to him what was it. The food was so good and the store in clean and cozy but it’s a shame to have that horrible woman at the front.
I recently spent some time in Long Island, NY for work, and I can confidently say that this restaurant is one of the best in the area. They offer a wide variety of options, and everything is made fresh. During my stay, I didn't feel the need to go anywhere else for lunch. Plus, their prices are quite reasonable given the generous portion sizes.
Haven't been to this place in yeeeears, but the food was just as good as I remembered. The staff was super friendly and accommodating even when being packed with customers.
