It was our first visit to Kith Kin today and we enjoyed it so much. We were made to feel welcome straight away by the friendly staff, who asked us to choose a seat and told us how to order. The menu was easy to breeze through and all sounded great. We both chose the day's special, which was steak eggs. It was so good! Service was quick, the food was amazing, steak cooked exactly as we asked and the side of sourdough toast was lovely too. Our coffees we had were really nice and we even bought a piece of cake to take home. We will definitely be back!
I often travel from Gateshead to Kith most weekends and I have never been disappointed with either the food or service. The chefs consistently deliver food that is both well-presented and high quality. The front of house staff are also excellent, always serving with a warm smile and a caring attitude. Every member of the staff is top-notch. I have my favorite dishes at Kith, but I won't spoil the surprise for you. If you haven't been to this restaurant yet, it is a must-try.
the first time we were in kith and kin and it was absolutely fantastic. beautiful steak sandwich, with bark meat from nicholson, a beautiful loose leaf earl grey tee. my partner had the aussie (fritte eier, speck, kale, mushroom, toast and a beeenstock hummus). all in all one of the most beautiful lunch I had in whitley bay.
Breakfast was great but service lacking a little. I don’t believe the breakfast should arrive before your tea/coffee/juice and asking for a further coffee did seem to take quite some time. But great cooking and would definitely visit again. Turkish eggs were lovely, as was the poached eggs with Hollandaise on sourdough

First of what will be many visits to this fabulous venue. The setting is contemporary but still homely and the food is just amazing. I had The Aussie today and would highly recommend it. I followed this with a beautiful piece of what was clearly homemade cake and tea. A little gem in Whitley bay
We called on spec.as a very popular cafe did not expect to get a seat but boy were we glad we did.my wife got the steak sarnie (36 day aged). i got the avo.bacon sourdough .2 coffees ..absolutely delicious..staff on the ball.dog friendly to the front only.will be back.
Having read great things about Kith n Kin I was not disappointed by the Shaksuka I had as a takeaway after a bracing walk on the beach.This was the 1st Shaksuka I'd had and the addition of the chorizo added to it.I'll be back in fact I've booked lunch already!
I am never disappointed when I dine here! This is without a doubt my favorite brunch spot in the North East. The food is consistently amazing, the pastries are delightful, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

more fabulous place to eat, drinking cold never thought I would eat so wonderful eating in whitleybay. beautiful environment embossing beautiful staff. can not recommend it very much
Been twice in recent weeks for breakfast/lunch. We've had 4 different meals off the menu and all been excellent.. had masala scrambled eggs today... Very good. Would highly recommend
