For those who need Gluten Free, this is our experience. We ate at Kitt’s for lunch 3 days in a row and my hubby never got sick! I reached out ahead of time to the owner through their contact link to ask if they use rice flour in their gluten free cornbread. In addition to no gluten, my hubby cannot tolerate rice. She replied the next day and said they do not! She said to ask for her when we came in and she’d try to have some other recommendations for us as well. Her staff was expecting us and she visited with us and said she is GF, as well as dairy and egg free, so no stranger to allergies. My husband and I tried this place for the first time today, and we were both impressed with the food, service, and overall atmosphere. The food was delicious and the pies were amazing. We will definitely be going back!
Interesting use of corn bread for sandwiches and hamburgers. My cheese burger with a side of chicken and dumplings combined with sweet tea made for a delicious lunch.
The redneck sandwich is so great. I really did enjoy it. I never had bologna on cornbread, I can say this again really great. Key lime pie was excellent.

The service was great! The chicken n dumplings soup was a little watery, but the cornbread sandwich was delish!
Sorry we were away for so long. One suggestion. The Texan should come with Fritos rather than potato chips.
Never had a jalapeno cornbread sandwich. Had bologna, onion, mustard, tomato, was fabulous.
