I joined friends for dinner last night at the Klarer and we had the small provate room on the first floor. We had 4 kids with us and we were 7 adults. We were served really well and the kids spent most of the time in the playroom that is on a floor above, which made the adults really happy and relaxed! Kids ate most of their quite huge meal (good portions) and all the adults were happy with their food. I had the raclette and regretted my choice. It was not bad but not how I like it. My first one was served so early it was cold by the time I had it. It was also vet thin. I had a second which was better as it was nice a bubbly but still very thin. stube rich in charm, ideal for a dinner in 14. the strong dish is the deer saddle served with spëtzli, cabbage, pear cooked in wine (good) and chestnuts. the bis is also served, this time with the taragna polenta. Finally, apple pancakes with cream and cream ice cream. with sassella wine of triacca (not excellent) we spent 190 chf in two (176 euros to change today.) the saddle is very good, the value quality price a little less.
Auch wir waren dieses Jahr mit der Familie beim Abendessen im Klarer. Das klassische Restaurant liegt mitten im wunderschönen Engadiner Ort Zuoz. Der Service ist sehr gut, die Speisekarte ausreichend groß, hier findet jeder sein Lieblingsgericht. Die Preise sind engadinisch teuer, aber die Qualität ist auch top. Wir werden zurückkommen.
Der Kochwechsel ist uns nicht aufgefallen. Der Service ist stets sehr aufmerksam, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben das Raclette im Zimmer oben gegessen, es war gut und sorgte für eine schöne festliche Atmosphäre.
