I'm not sure what happened to this place. The man who owns/operates the grill in this deli for years was a gem. Best egg sandwiches ever, hands down. Went there for the first time in a while recently. That owner wasn't there, and the staff of 5 people in his place were clueless. Customer service horrible. Waited almost 40 minutes for 1 egg sandwich that turned out to be not the sandwich I ordered. It's a shame when 1 man can do the job better than 5. There is no reasonable excuse to have someone wait that long for a single sandwich. Have frequented this place for 20+ years. Would drive from Babylon to Islip just for an egg sandwich. Learned my lesson. Will not be going back.
Kleibers will always be my top pick for a deli. The staff is friendly and dedicated, and the new owner, John, is a real pleasure to be around. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and their heroes are absolutely delicious. They also offer a wide variety of new salads and healthy choices on the menu. If you haven't visited this hidden gem yet, you're truly missing out.
If you haven’t been to this hidden gem yet; I don’t know what you’re waiting for! Clean beyond belief! Super realistic and friendly service and AMAZING food quality! I would rate 10 stars if I could! Bob is great and gave me a whole tour and background/history of the old country store. If you want a Deli experience you will rave about; get there! You will thank me :
Did a small catering order at the new Kleiber 's last week. Great all around. Heros and salads were excellent as was the preparation. Deli looks great with nice upgrades. Many thanks to John and his team.

Hands down the best deli I’ve ever been to. I lived super close to this gem for a year and I got the Italian sub every single week. I’ve moved away since, but the cravings have not stopped!
Discovered Kleiber's today. Just had the best Italian hero ever! I've had a lot of them in the past. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Great and friendly staff. Must try for everyone.
