that is often said, one must eat for when in the whitehorse, and with quite good reason. the restaurant is only seasonal open for the most important tourist times (i.e. closed for winter. eating is quite good in the regular, and they offer a lot of game meat from yukon animals like elch and bison. they also have a few fishing opportunities from regional fish like salmon and healed by yukon and alaska. good atmosphere, good staff, good eating. it's hard to go wrong with a visit here. the catch is that the restaurant is quite small and can wait long.
came here for a nice Sunday dinner and we were not disappointed! I had the crab cake for a starter, the salmon dish for dinner and took a piece of pecan cake to go. the food was great, the service was great and so were all the workers with whom we interacted, and the country playlist made everything much better! definitely can't wait to come back! Arrive early to get your name on the list; otherwise, you might have to wait around an hour for a table. The atmosphere is fantastic, and everyone—from the staff to the other diners—is friendly. The food is delicious, and it's a great spot for families. If you're familiar with Yellowknife, it’s similar to Bullocks.

Another great meal was had when visiting Whitehorse. I still dream about the salmon we had here six years ago and while we were here for lunch this time, I made sure to get a salmon skewer to have it again. Great service and food!
