I did not want to leave a negative review online, but I attempted to speak with the manager without success as the phone rang endlessly. My husband brought home some items from this restaurant on Sunday and I was eagerly looking forward to enjoying some Jewish delicacies. However, the chopped liver was gritty and had an off smell, so I had to throw it away. It seemed like there was some bone in one of the dishes which was unexpected. I didn't really want to leave a bad review on the internet. I tried calling to speak to the manager but the phone kept ringing unanswered. My husband picked up a few things on Sunday for me. I was excited because I miss having these Jewish delicacies. Thechopped liver was grainy and smelled odd. Threw it away. Don't you use onion in any of your foods? The gefilte fish was toosweet. It was hard and gelatinous. I'm sorry to say the knishes we're not good at all. The mushroom was 4 small mushroom piecesin what I think is mashed potatoes. No onions. The potato knish not much flavor and the dough was raw on the inside. What ashame. Am I too picky? I don't think so. I won't be going back.
I tried the NY sub, potato salad, and coleslaw from Knish Shop, and they were incredibly delicious! Right now, they're operating out of Yaffa Catering while their main spot is being renovated for the next few months. I ordered in person this time, but in the future, I’ll likely call ahead because the catering location is busy and somewhat cramped.

First time ordering delivery. Ordered corn beef on rye. They put it on a sub roll. A SUB ROLL! What kind of Jewish deli is that? Terrible. The sandwich was fatty and on a dam sub roll
This restaurant is fantastic – the staff are caring and helpful, the food tastes amazing, and they are attentive with packaging. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.
This was our first visit, but definitely not our last! The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the challah was the best we've ever had!
