Beautiful ingredients that are well-made. Great burgers, stuffed jalapeños, cowboy caviar, beautiful salads, and a nice craft beer selection. It’s a lovely drive along the river from town. After your meal, you can stretch your legs on the towpath of the Erie Canal. The park is right behind the restaurant. It has lovely views and benches. The path is level and gravel-paved.
The restaurant and service at this place are top-notch. The portions are generous, enough for one person, with a menu that spans two pages. I recommend trying the hard and soft **** sandwiches, as well as the grilled fresh jalapeños for a deliciously spicy kick. However, the black bean burger was disappointing, as it lacked flavor and was too mushy.
The food is great- fresh cut fries and amazing baked beans. Fresh burgers chatted a little with the owner- really nice guy.
Amazing food, great environment and wonderful staff. If I'm ever back here I will be back.
