I only came here because Soban Korea was closed. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. They frequently delivered orders to the wrong tables, and the waitress took our menus before we even had a chance to order. It also took a long time for our food to arrive, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The bibimbap I ordered was not good; the egg had some raw whites, and the vegetables were served at different temperatures, with some being overcooked. The rice was hard as well. On a positive note, my girlfriend's Naengmyeon was decent. However, there was a mandatory 18% tip added to the bill. I’m a huge fan of Korean cuisine, and this restaurant is one of my favorites! I've visited a few times all the way from Chicago, and it has never let me down. The service is quick, and the food is delicious with generous portions, perfect for family-style dining. We ordered the cheese buldak, donkkasu, seafood pancake, and galbitang. Everything was wonderful, though I found the galbitang to be just okay; my friends, however, really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place!

I've gotten food from here plenty of times before, but it just seems like things are getting bad. Ordered a steak Bibimbap but they literally gave me a toddler fist sized portion of beef. I asked for no bean sprouts and well-done fried eggs and......when I open my order...low and behold... sunny side up eggs and nice size portion of bean sprouts. Service was horrible...as most so many other reviews have been saying.

I ordered food through DoorDash. I ordered food that was 100 dollars!The food is terrible. They didnt give me 2 of the items i ordered. The taste is under- seasoned and very disappointing!!! It is not authentic Korean food!!! Do not eat from here!
Service can be a bit slow but man oh man I love the Dolsat Bibimbap. Wish they would bring back the fern, but absolutely delicious and super healthy. My favorite place in Evanston, tied with Blind Faith.

I ordered the dolsot bibimbap and beef sundubu. Both were excellent! I will be returning. The guy taking orders is very nice, free water refills, too.
The food was incredible, the waiter was very friendly, and the service was quite fast.
