Neither food nor drinks are overpriced. Especially for the Lilliput/Whitecliff/Sandbanks area, this is a great option with lots of free parking opposite in one of the side roads. The Chardonnay wine on the menu was very fruity and refreshing, the Squid (starter) was cooked almost to perfection, and the Spicy Fried Rice with Chicken (main dish) was full of flavour and very spicy! If you like restaurants that serve tasty but tiny portions, combined with outrageous prices, this is the place for you. It used to be one of the best Thai restaurants that I have been to, with good value and decent sized portions. Since Covid, this restaurant has jumped on the bandwagon of 'shrinkflation ' i.e. a lot less food plus higher prices. A glass of wine was £12 and avoid buying alchohol, to avoid 'bill anxiety ' at the end of your meal.The food is still good and tasty, and apart from 'French cuisine ' portions, also lacks the presentation and trimmings that used to accompany the dishes. Decided to go out for dinner there as had ordered delivery a few times and the green curry had been very good. Starter was the pork, which was unfortunately tasteless and also quite burnt dry, but the waitress immediately said she’d take it off the bill which was good. I had the chicken basil stir fry but the rice came on the plate with all the sauce so it was all soggy, would think it should come in a bowl separately with the egg on top. Overall would probably order again on delivery for convenience but not worth the 4 star rating in my opinion.

We came here last night and as usual had a really great meal the tapas is made to perfection, thanks to the chef's in the kitchen,also a big thanks to Amber our waitress on this occasion a true ambassador for Koh Noi. Highly recommended for a great night out with friends.

We were staying at one of the hotels in sandbanks this weekend which was lovely but the food at the hotel was tasteless and boring. We were so lucky to have found this place, just a 20 minute walk away. The place was buzzing and we hadn’t booked but the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, a treat for the tastebuds. Cocktails were great too. Highly recommend this place…we told about three people about it on our walk back to our hotel!
The quality of the food is getting progressively worse. It’s more like a regular average quality Chinese whereas when it first opened you could see and taste the difference. For example The noodles I had, had pre cooked chicken that was tossed onto the top of the noodles. No seasoning. Rubbery and grim. The ribs used to be delicious. Now they are fatty and average. Think twice before ordering as it’s full on pricing.
Visited Lilliput Poole on a Friday Night ... Food Exellent when it eventually arrived. Staff were great overall but no warning about delays and we had to keep asking for our food. The business seemed to be more interested in the takeaway side and the bar than people dining. Would order a takeaway, but would not return for dining. Shame as lovely place.
Lovely food, but the restaurant is looking quite run down. The seats we were on were very tatty and clearly just need to be replaced or repaired. Also the menu online needs to be updated because it's cheaper compared to when we went which was disappointing.

The food was delicious, we had a party of 8 on a Wednesday night , the restaurant was busy and lively, service was good and the dishes we choice were tasty hot and and vdy well presented. Great place to go when you are in Bournemouth.
first time visit here after reading good reviews and i wasn’t disappointed. great food and plenty of it. looking forward to going again when i’m next in the area.
