Koi Japanese Cuisine

Although this was my first time, this was my guest in Japanese cuisine. The restaurant was packed, but we were lucky to get a stand quite fast. Food: Sashimi Dinner Plate was filled with fresh cuts of tuna, salmon, yellow tail, whitefish and mussel. It also came with a bowl of fog soup, salad and rice. That was more than enough to fill me. Teriyaki salmon plate was delicious! Only the perfect amount of rice, salmon and vegetables. This meal also came with a bowl of rice, Miso soup and salad. Appetizers: Baked Mussels was delicious! The sauce was creamy and plentiful. Personally, it was a little on the salty side for me, but the extra sauce for a large bath for the roasted Calamari we ordered...

If you want to enjoy an authentic Japanese sushi experience while in California luxury, go here! Definitely choose the bar seat for the best experience of Japan. I thought I was back in Japan until I arrived outside and felt the SoCal sea breeze. Fresh fish, excellent sushi cuisine and real Japanese hospitality.

The quality of the sushi is extremely high. My girlfriend and I get the sashimi chef 's choice plate which I pictured here it 's absolutely incredible. Wait staff are courteous and well-informed, all around just love this place, have been coming here since the '80s

Absolutely amazing! Not only the melt in your mouth sushi, kind and welcoming staff but most of all, the other customers! What a true joy of an experience as a solo diner. I was adopted by my sushi bar mates and they guided me wonderfully!

Koi is hands down my favorite Japanese restaurant in America. I grew up going here and the food has always been excellent. Highly recommend the ginger sesame salad, teriyaki anything, and California rolls (with real crab)
