Yesterday, I was in St. Louis for work and, as a 6'4", 225-pound construction worker, I was really hungry. I stumbled upon the Kolache Factory next door, a place I'd never heard of before. Once I stepped inside, I was blown away by the concept. They serve pillowy, soft, fresh bread filled with delicious bites of goodness. It’s such a fantastic idea! I immediately called my girlfriend to tell her we need this in Springfield, Illinois.
You absolutely have to try these if you haven't already!!! There are a variety of flavors to choose from, and each one is more delicious than the last. I enjoy popping in for a quick takeout. If you're having trouble choosing, just ask the staff; they always have great recommendations and are super fast. I can get in and out in just 5 minutes, even with a line. Just a heads up, though – these treats are incredibly addictive...
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a meal! There’s a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and everything appears to be freshly made. You can see the staff preparing the food and restocking items as they run low. Plus, you have the choice of warming up your kolaches or enjoying them at room temperature.
I absolutely love this place! The bread is fantastic on its own, and then it gets even better when it's filled with amazing ingredients. The food was quite bland. I tried several options, but they all tasted like random dishes stuffed in dry white bread. The warming process was just the employee popping the entire bag in the microwave for a few seconds. Overall, I wasn't impressed.
Outstanding service and amazing food! It would be great to have one of these in the CWE for work event catering. This morning, I tried the jalapeño popper and the cream cheese and chocolate kolache, and I loved both! I can't wait to come back!
We’ve walked by this restaurant numerous times and finally decided to give it a try, and the food was incredible! Don’t be intimidated by the long lines; they efficiently get you seated and served. We’ll definitely be coming back!
