I arrived in Minneapolis ready for some hearty Khmer food to warm my soul and my feet, so I headed to a Cambodian restaurant. I ordered the lemongrass soup and skewered beef, hoping for a taste of home cooking. The atmosphere felt authentically Cambodian, but when my food came and I took my first bite, I had to fight the urge to spit it out right there. I made an excuse to use the bathroom, questioning if I was really in a Cambodian restaurant, enjoying Khmer cuisine. The owner attempted to reassure me that she had adjusted the traditional recipes for a broader audience, but I left convinced that the food was purposely altered in that way. I won’t be returning! The owner was very nice , she even took the time for a big order even though she was there by her self, she made a big tray of chicken fried rice for a memorial for our nephew , and also took people order and do the cooking she was super woman to me I really wanted to thank her , being nice and doing all that for us and keeping the other patrons fed and drinks give 10 stars
Completely empty during late lunch on a weekday so food arrived quickly. The portions are massive! They had so many diverse dishes as well as some comfort options. Instead of lemonade we got lemon soda and my card was ran without being able to select a tip. This place is easy to pass by but is definitely somewhere to visit for something new.
What an incredible experience. The food was incredible and the staff were so warm and kind to our large party with lots of messy children. The beef skewers, shrimp and tofu soup and lemongrass chicken were our favorites. We are coming back soon.Food: 5/5 Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
It's the bomb diggidy! From the outside it looks like a thrift store but inside it's someone's mama's best dish. Real hometown authentic Cambodian food. Just remember; they've been around for a friggin' long time so their food has got to be amazing.
The food is good and different. The fried rice was nothing special, but their entrees, like beef and soup, were great. The chicken wings were good, too.The atmosphere is simple and the area was a bit sketchy to park.Food: 5/5
Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Saint Paul. The ginger beef is insane as well as the spring rolls. The service was outstanding. My entire family LOVED every biteFood: 5/5
