Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer gesunden Mahlzeit und einem ungezwungenen kulinarischen Erlebnis. Das Personal begrüßte uns sofort und half uns mit englischen Menüs und unterhielt sich mit uns über das Café, die Gegend und das lokale Bier, das es dort gab. Während sie unser Essen zubereiteten, saßen wir draußen und genossen die Aussicht auf den See, eine Oldtimer-Rallye, die durch die Stadt fuhr, und das Kommen und Gehen der Fähren. Wir haben unser Mittagessen wirklich genossen und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Stadt wieder hierher kommen! Es war so eine schöne Erfahrung, gutes Essen, nette Leute.
We were looking for a healthy meal and a casual dining experience. The staff immediately greeted us and helped us with English menus and chatted with us about the cafe, the area and the local beer they had. While they prepared our food, we sat outside and enjoyed the view of the lake, a vintage car rally passing through town, the ferries coming and going. We really enjoyed our lunch and will go back here the next time we are in town! It was such a lovely experience - good food, good people.
Great, locally-sourced food (on a 4-day holiday we went twice!); unique beer to the region. Ask Gregor for a "hillbilly" sandwich and you are guaranteed return for more - especially if you get the extra cheese! Had a muffin and blueberry cake which were also top notch. Awesome mountain views, just across the street from the ferry boat. This place is a strong recommendation, has a great vibe. We look forward to returning - again!
My husband and I stopped by after a visit to the Swiss Army store/museum. It's a great location just across the street from the boat dock. After two weeks of traveling and eating heavy meals, a cafe with delicious sandwiches was exactly what we needed. I had the caprese on focaccia and my husband ordered the ham sandwich. Everything was very fresh and delicious--and quite large! I highly recommend this cute little spot.

Stopped by multiple times during a short visit to Brunner.Great, healthy and authentic food. Great option for breakfast and lunch. Very relaxed and welcoming staff. The owner is just a great dude. Loved atmosphere and the location. Will definitely come back. Didn't expect to find a place like this in Brunnen but were very happy to find it.
it's a small Bistro with very friendly staff! You'll find Kombuese at a nice place in Brunnen @ Lake of Lucerne. Inside you'll get some very Special snaks and Drinks! I can recommend this place very well!
Great place, close to the beautiful view and a nice park, the sandwiches ate delicious so is the wrap, good lemonade and the service was perfect. They don't accept credit card, only money,
We visited Kombuese with the family for breakfast: great, friendly service and amazing food! Will definitely be back!
