Here’s your revised review: We’ve been going to Konak in Leicester since 2015, and its authenticity keeps us coming back. Despite trying many Turkish restaurants in Birmingham and London, nothing matches the freshness and flavour of Konak’s dishes. Whether we dine in or order takeaway, the quality never wavers. Living in Oxford, we make a point to visit whenever we’re in Leicester, either to see friends or enjoy their delicious, home-made style meals. The food is consistently excellent, and the welcoming atmosphere makes every experience feel special. Konak is our top choice for Turkish cuisine!
Gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu and there is a separate allergen menu that provides more detailed information. Although there is no dedicated fryer for chips, I felt comfortable dining here. As a vegetarian in a Turkish restaurant, options are already limited, but being a coeliac adds another layer of restriction. Despite this, I enjoyed a delicious meal of grilled halloumi with rice salad, which had no negative effects on me.
Beautiful and up market restaurant. Very good location and extremely busy. Staff received our group of 12 and took us to our pre-booked table online. Very polite and friendly staff, and the service was faultless. Food was flavoursome and good portions. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for Turkish food in Leicester.
Food here is great, service and atmosphere is also very nice. The only thing is they don’t support the boycotts that the majority are supporting, I think it’s now September 2024 and if you haven’t made the necessary changes then you’re either in support of Zionism or turning a blind eye to the people of Palestine.

Loved loved the food here! Stagf were amazing, quick to help. Toilet facilities were really cleaning.. we came on a really busy night so it's understandable why the food took a while to come, but I would come again alot if I lived nearby.
Food was very tasty. I do think for the price the portion size and presentation could be much better. Hope kitchen staff tale my suggestion on board! Recommend if coming with friends or family.
Loved the food, we also tried Pizza but we did not like it much as compared to other authentic Turkish foods that we had.
The food is suburb. Great taste. Very Fast, but noisy atmosphere my apple watch recorded it as 90 disciple.
