I celebrated my birthday at Kooma with my parents, who aren't usually fans of sushi, and they absolutely loved it! We each chose different items from the menu, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere was fantastic, and there was a great crowd. The sushi, sashimi, and rolls were the best I've ever had. I will definitely be returning!
After being disappointed by another sushi restaurant in town, I decided to give this place a try for the first time, and it was a world apart from my previous experience. The flavor combinations were excellent, the fish was incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes were just right. I’ve found my new go-to spot in West Chester!
I ordered the Salmon Roll and Yaki Udon, but neither was worth the price. The Salmon Roll arrived warm and had an unpleasant fishy taste that shouldn't be present in fresh fish. While the Yaki Udon had a decent portion size, the sauce was rather bland. Given the cost, I would recommend dining in rather than ordering takeout.
I had a wonderful experience at Kooma! The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. On Wednesdays, they offer a 30% discount on appetizers, which is a nice bonus. This is a fantastic spot for sushi and drinks! My server suggested one of her special tuna rolls instead of the usual options, and I was truly impressed!
