Came here to eat for the first time, found it on Yelp. I liked how spacious the place was with booths to sit at. I'm a booth person, don't care for tables and chairs in the middle of the restaurant or next to another group. So I really liked that I was able to sit with my family and enjoy our meal in booths instead of sitting next to people.The food was great! We ordered crispy rice tuna which is my favorite, not many sushi places have them and if they do it's a hit or miss. We also got 2 rolls (I forgot the name), 2 bento boxes, calamari, and jalapeño bombs. I feel like sushi used to be good a few years ago now it seems a lot more low quality sushi and it's hard to come by good and high qua...

Food and atmosphere looks better than it is worth but food is tasteless or taste weird. Tempura fried to dried overdone. Ramen broth is wierd not great. Ramen noodle itself was very thin and taste like dried Chinese noodle. Food is very mediocre.it’s definitely not a good place for Japanese food.I really tried to like it.It’s like some kind of made believe good looking tasteless food that looks Japanese you can eat if you are really hungry and have no other choice.Service is terrible staff are extremely disgruntled and they show it.I really don’t know what anyone is raving about, granted Rowland Heights is not known for great Japanese food, I have been to better.I don’t even expect much but...

Pretty good place to have some Japanese food late night. They're open until 12 mn on Fri and Sat. Surprisingly, we left around 1130pm, and yet people were still going in on a Friday night.Food wise, i like itz the quality is pretty good and there is flavor. Unlike, some generic Japanese restos that are meh, seeing Asians.... behind the Sushi bar makes it pretty good. The place looks like a izakaya since they do serve ramen, to bento , to appetizers to tons of rolls.There's a bar area and also booths. For more privacy, get a booth on the right side. The problem here though would be that , you're going to have a hard time calling for service.

First things first, shout out to Kopan for finding space for a party of six with no reservations during dinner rush in fifteen minutes. I have no doubt it wasn't easy, and you saved our group from succumbing to the throes of hanger induced frenzyFor myself, I ordered the vegan ramen, which came in a sizeable portion for its price. Although the broth was a bit watery for my taste, the edamame was seasoned to perfection. It’s a fantastic sushi restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Again, i brought my family here for a quiet dinner. They offer 50% off on 2nd sushi roll and beer and sake. It's a good deal for family dinner. The food is always good here and I just love the spicy garlic edamame. First time we ordered the sesame chicken and it's nothing special taste wise but it's crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The waiter is very attentive, he came by our table 3 times asking how we are doing. That's service.

Traditional wood-oriented interior design and dim lighting. Fabric curtains for each booth provide a personal dining space. We have been to this branch many times with family and friends. Enjoyed the food. We are somewhat disappointed in our recent dining experience. We hope our next visit the good feeling may resume as we remembered before with food and service.

Great ramen if you need a ramen fix. Thick creamy broth, similar to Silverlake and Slurpin'. I personally recommend getting the chicken breast instead of chashyu. It tends to be not cooked fully or tender.Food: 5/5

This place is absolutely fantastic with plenty of choices for someone who is a vegan. The atmosphere is authentic and the food is dynamite. Totally reccomend.Vegetarian options: Vegan options available
