Went here last night at the tail end of an office Christmas party and we stumbled (quite literally inside having been turned away at a restaurant next door. It was past closing though their OPEN sign was still on. Anyway! Although Oppa was just about to close, they took us in, a group of 6, and stayed open until we finished. When I realized we were in a Korean restaurant, I was so excited; I've been searching for a good Korean restaurant in the midlands. My colleagues were much less so as they had never had Korean food and were unfamiliar with everything on the menu. unbelievable. It's amazing. my business partner and I came here with a pure chance as we were in leicester. I have never had food that tastes this good before, very high quality and delicious ingredients. it is regrettable that I live 200 miles away, as it means that I cannot visit oppa as often as I want. I would come here every week if I could. I hope that I will leave this evaluation, I can help convince people to try them!
This was our first experience dining at a Korean restaurant, so we sought the waitress's recommendations on what to order. She was very helpful in suggesting the lunchtime fixed menu, which turned out to be more than enough for us. We enjoyed miso soup and bibimbap with chicken, both of which were absolutely delicious.
We have had a wonderful meal, the food was soooooo delicious and the staff were amazing, kind and very funny. They really made our evening after a day of performing!! I always wanted to try a korean bbq. I went with my best friend and we loved it, the food is amazing, the service is amazing the location as well. The chicken bbq is to die for. If you want a good lunch or dinner with your family or friends, this is the place. I highly recommend this place.
