I was excited to see KoRyu Ramen open in my hometown, especially since the one in Torrance is such a hidden gem. Unfortunately, I've noticed some changes over time. The portions seem to have gotten smaller, though I'm not sure if the prices have increased. Additionally, you now have to ask for sauces to be included with your order—not including dipping sauce for the gyoza feels like not offering ketchup with fries! When I went to pick up my order, no one greeted me or even said thank you when I left; the staff seemed indifferent. Been here 3 times so far and have always walked away very happy. Their ramen is so solid and delicious. you can save half for later and it is still good warmed back up. Ive gotten shachu 2 of 3 times because its so good. I only wish their karaage and gyoza came with their own special sauces. also the karaage was very tough and oily. you can tell these people care about what they are doing. it is located on a corner with enough street parking. they have outdoor seating bar-style and allow ? definitely eat here
I was really looking forward to trying this place, but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. The service left much to be desired, especially since we were the only customers there, which says a lot. My son even had to get up to ask the waiter for a drink refill. The ramen was decent—I ordered the koi ramen, but it was pretty bland. On the other hand, the garlic bomb was much better. If the service had been improved, I would have rated it higher.

I ordered the Shacho Ramen, along with Takoyaki and their signature KoRyu drink. I must say, all three were absolutely excellent and appetizing. The ramen was rich, just as I expected, and the flavor was delightful. The takoyaki was soft and creamy on the inside, with a nice texture on the outside. The drink was smooth and not overly sweet. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, complemented by fantastic service. I would definitely recommend it.
The food at Koryu Ramen San Pedro is excellent, but it's frustrating that they close so early! The place is usually crowded, yet they stop serving at 8:15 and are quite rude about it. Not a pleasant experience during dinner. However, I’ve had wonderful experiences there in the afternoon.
Absolutely fantastic! Just ask, and they’ll explain all the menu options for your meal. Excellent service, friendly staff—definitely coming back. Love the ramen and love this place!
Parking can be challenging, and the interior decor is quite simple, but the ramen truly steals the show! The service is excellent as well.

Wow, what an amazing bowl of ramen! It was absolutely perfect. I haven't had better ramen anywhere else!
