I have to admit, I was quite impressed with this restaurant. The experience was definitely worth it! While the prices may be a bit on the higher side compared to your typical sushi joint, the quality and taste are exceptional. This was hands down the best sushi I have ever had, and I have tried many different places before. Highly recommend it!

I came to Laguna Hills for vacation and stumbled upon this amazing sushi restaurant. It was the best decision my wife and I made for food during our trip. The octopus and baked mussels were delicious, and the chef and customer service were top-notch. I will definitely make the trip back from the Bay Area just to eat here again.

I recently returned from my visit and I am still speechless. The sushi I had in Tokyo was on a whole other level. Hiro is truly a master at his craft (you'll understand when you visit). Make sure to request him to prepare your meal and order the Grandmakase - it is very important to him.

I have been eating at Kotobuki for 20 years. I absolutely love their food. Service is always amazing. You are always greeted by the Sushi Chefs and the lady who works there has been there for 20 years and is awesome.
