I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and arrived right when it opened. Unfortunately, the table we chose was still dirty from the previous night, which was disappointing. Since I enjoy spicy food, I decided to go for the "flame" option for my meal. There were only a couple of small groups dining at that time, yet I found the service to be a bit slow. On the bright side, both the ramen and the broth were quite tasty. I’m looking forward to coming back to try another dish. Overall, the prices felt a bit on the higher side, but I still had an enjoyable experience.
Kotsu Ramen Gyoza offers a trendy and spacious dining atmosphere with plenty of parking. The menu features a diverse selection of Asian fusion and ramen dishes, though prices are on the higher side—5 small gyoza dumplings cost $8! The ramen bowl I ordered was flavorful, but the portion of pork belly felt sparse for the $14 price. I've visited other ramen spots that serve similarly delicious—and often more generously sized—bowls for a couple of dollars less. The service at Kotsu Ramen Gyoza was excellent, however.
Our family went for dinner and tried the vegan matcha ramen, tonyu ramen, and tonyu kick ramen. All were tasty, though the matcha ramen didn’t taste much different from the regular tonyu. The tonyu kick had a mild spiciness, so next time I’ll try the tonyu flame, which is supposed to be much hotter. The broth was slightly sweet but rich with a great texture. The vegan gyoza were delicious as well. We’ll definitely be returning.
I really adore this restaurant! They have an excellent variety of options for meat enthusiasts and those who lean towards plant-based meals. My top choice is the level 7 vegan spicy Kotsu ramen—it’s absolutely fantastic. They serve a hearty portion of tofu and a great mix of flavorful vegetables. You can genuinely see that you’re getting quality for your money; it's truly worth every cent!

Quality ramen shop. I love their simple kotsu ramen and their Tacoyaki is the BEST! It?s very crispy balls with octopus pieces. They give out free water cups without asking and it?s very clean eating area with option for outdoor seating. It can get cold inthere easily. The ramen starts at $11.99.
This restaurant is fantastic! I ordered the vegan ramen, and it was truly exceptional—the broth was rich and creamy. My husband tried the deluxe Kotsu ramen, and he loved it as well. The service was excellent too. We will definitely return!
I increased my rating to 4 stars after discovering that they serve meals on real dishes when you dine in. The ramen and gyozas are both outstanding and satisfying! This is an update from my previous review on January 16, 2024.
Most of their flavors can be made vegan, and the Vegan Matcha Madness is absolutely scrumptious!
