With its rustic charm and central location in Pfullendorf's old town (including its own parking space , the long established hotel actually has potential. The traditional and very beautiful (half timbered house welcomes its guests after the main entrance with a small reception, the restaurant and a bar (which was closed at the time . There is no elevator; you can reach the upper floors via wide, easily accessible stairs with the guest rooms of different sizes and furnishings (we had booked three rooms . Ich habe dort Maultaschen bestellt. Leider haben sie nichts mehr zu tun mit den weltklasse Maultaschen von damals. Sie sind viel zu salzig und bieten absolut keinen Geschmacks-Höhepunkt. Es gibt deutlich bessere Maultaschen. Dafür sind sie eindeutig zu teuer. Eine Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich, und eine Quittung wird ebenfalls nicht ausgestellt. Viele Grüße ans Finanzamt.

We stayed in the Krone for one night while passing through. My single room was from the 60s and the mattress was correspondingly bad.
